I try hard to capture wildlife with an intimacy that allows the viewer to peer into the animal’s soul and catch a glimpse of what it must feel like to be truly wild. Therefore, all of my wildlife images are made in the wild unless specified. I will not try to pass off an image of an animal taken in captivity as one of an animal made in the wild. My ethics simply will not allow me to do so. My landscape portraits endeavor to convey the mood and substance of the area rather than just documenting the moment. I invite you, the viewer, to pause and contemplate for a moment what it would have been like to have been there. Lose yourself in the emotions that my images inspire. |
